I haven't been around....

Blogging has been the last thing on my mind in the last several weeks since all of my energy has gone to working, sleeping, eating, and incubating our baby. Oh, and keeping my food down.

Our baby??? Wha-? Yep! Due in mid May to two very excited parents-to-be (and some very excited grandparents and aunts and uncles).

To God be the glory!

So excited for you guys!!!! How many weeks are you now?

I'm 11 weeks, and feeling better than I was. What worked for me: ginger tabs, sea bands, zantac. I also added in b6 and milk thistle and am assuming that probably aided somewhat too. I mainly just have fatigue and every-two-hour-hunger at this point. I'm glad the all day nausea has mostly subsided! It's been interesting to see, how you have said in the past, that different things work for different women.

Praise the Lord!

We'll be praying for you and the baby.

...even as I type our smallest rugrat is climbing upon and slobbering all over me. They're so much fun. :)

Thanks for the link, anonymous. Leave your name next time :).

Just a couple comments related to the video:
- Paul Offit is a huge vaccine proponent. He actually said babies can tolerate "10,000 vaccines at once." There are issues of serious conflicts of interest with him with his financial interests with Merck.
- I've actually steered clear of any autism links or theories in my research (I actually skipped the autism chapter in the Cave book), as you will see if you read my posts. The ties to autism don't drive my interest in figuring out which vaccines are safe or necessary for our children (or ourselves).
- The woman interviewed by Matt Lauer said there are only 14 shots given. What's misleading is some shots contain more than one vaccine. I counted 36 vaccines given by age 3 on the schedule on the CDC page. (http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/recs/schedules/downloads/child/2008/08_0-6yrs_schedule_pr.pdf)
- I've read that the studies done disproving a link have been altered to reflect pharma and CDC interests (ie NO link shown).
