Yes, a post about bugs

....except it's a question: How do worms find my flowers? I am on the third floor balcony of my apartment building and have several pots of [growing and not dying] flowers. Seriously. How do they get to my flowers? Do they climb the brick, hoping to find something to eat and Wa-la! Alicia's flowers? I really don't get how they arrive at my balcony, day after day. I pick at least three off my wave petunias each day I look for them. And for your viewing pleasure, I posted a picture of the kind flower Mr. Green Worm is eating, not Mr. Worm himself. I don't like him enough. But really, again, how do they do it? Do you think they know where to go to come back to my balcony after I hurl them over the railing? Should I squish them? Enough questions for you, Reader.

Flying worms????? What will they think of next??? Maybe the original worms got to the flowers when you bought them or the dirt, and then they had babies and their offspring continue to feast upon your posies.

I have bugs all over my flowers too. I hate their guts. :)

That's possible, Catherine. Hmm. I was also wondering if they really do "fly" where they repel through the air from trees nearby....like on a silk thread or something. But I think that's a very good possibility of already being in the plant or dirt.

Are you sure they are worms, and not caterpillars of some moth or butterfly? The winged mothers may have laid the eggs on your petunias, knowing their offspring would be well-nourished by your lovely garden!
By the way, I'm wondering why your blog mentions your zodiac sign if you have been redeemed by Christ. I don't hink you can get wisdom both ways!
"Who is this woman and why is she posting on my blog?" you may ask.

Thanks for pointing out the zodiac sign...I just added my birthday yesterday to my profile. It seems that blogger puts your sign when your birthday is known. I didn't realize that previously and just removed my birthday....so thanks for noticing that, whoever you are :-)
