I am now a recipe tester for Cook's Illustrated! My hopes, expressed in a recent post, have materialized. I received my first receipe to test.
I'm probably one of thousands, haha.

Hi Catherine! They haven't said it's secret. So, it's a French Onion and Bacon Tart. I'm not sure when I'll make it...maybe sometime next week!
Hm, sounds interesting! Would that be a breakfast food? I haven't made a tart in a long time, I should dust off the tart pans!
There is nothing better than a dream coming true. Especially when it conserns food. :)
By the way Alicia I just saw your comment on my post about the All-Clad pans. They are kind of a pain to clean, but I think they conduct heat really well. Have you tried Barkeepers Friend on them? It's pretty good for getting them shiny when they get dull inside.
And I agree, it would be fun if we lived closer! But it's fun to chat on the blogs too! :)
