I skimmed the recent Martha Stewart Living magazine at the library today and found a recipe for Pumpkin Pancakes. I am craving them! I want to try! But not until a Saturday that affords me a good long workout afterwards. Photo from marthastewart.com.
Keeping with the pumpkin theme, I am excited to make Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread again this fall or around Thanksgiving (this is my dessert link to the left). It has been a hit at various functions in the past, and a bit of cream cheese spread on a slice makes for a decadent blend of flavors.

Yum! I love pumpkin anything! I tore a recipe out of the newspaper yesterday for a pumpkin quiche that I might have to try.
You asked about Chocolat. Godawa brings up its feminist overtones (Binoche against the patriarchal church, the emphasis on pleasure, etc.) and its paganism (Wiccan). I had no idea! I can't remember what the details without looking at the book, but it threw a film I enjoyed into a completely different light.
those do look good. hmmm....we should do breakfast some time. ;)
I am definately going to try the pumpkin bread recipe. It sounds yummy!!!
Strange that you would like to try these. The pancakes sound good good. Maybe someday you will even like pumpkin pie! Maybe I should serve it with cream cheese on the top.
