Happy Birthday, Dad!!

I came home at lunch today to frost my dad's German Chocolate birthday cake. Of course I got out my camera...as evidenced here. I'll post the recipe if we like it when we have it for dessert tonight. For dinner, I am making Crunchy Shrimp with Toasted Couscous and Ginger-Orange Sauce, an amazing dish that is incredibly flavorful but not heavy.

Here is some nutty footage (about 3 min) of cars sliding and colliding in Portland, Oregon earlier today. My aunt's work was closed in Salem because of the weather.
